When sculpting I essentially work with air-drying clays. On some models like Sandre, I also make silicone molds that allow me to produce resin casts. Those dolls are then hand-painted with acrylic using paintbrush or airbrush, depending of the models.
Having an artistic formation, painting and traditional technics are very important in my work. I always strive to propose pieces that are unique by their design, painting or accessories, and each doll is conceived as a character on it’s own.
When working on illustration or comics, I always start drawing on paper, because I like the contact with the material, and then colorize with Photoshop, wich is quicker.
I’d love to work on a fully traditionnaly watercolored album someday.
